Geotech Environmental Equipment, Inc. recently instructed a one-day course for students in the NC State Environmental Technology and Management program. This comprehensive training was designed to ensure students were prepared for practical competence upon launching their careers.
The day was divided into two sessions; theoretical and technical knowledge focused on sampling methodologies, best practices, decision-making, and calculations. The afternoon transitioned to practical field training, putting theory into action with real-work equipment set-up and operations. The hands-on portion focused on techniques required for successful groundwater elevation logging and low-flow groundwater sampling.
The dedication and engagement from this cohort of graduating students was truly impressive. These future environmental professionals are clearly top-notch, demonstrating a keen desire to master these job-ready skills.
